Some of you may be wondering what our new home looks like, so I thought I'd post some pictures. Bear in mind that it has been inhabited by an older woman for mannnnyyyy years, so you can rest assured that the floral wall paper, pink and black tile, dusty rose carpet and tiny kitchen will be addressed. In fact, you probably won't even recognize this place once I'm finished with it! And also, in case you were wondering, the reason I haven't posted these earlier is because I have been completely SUCKED INTO PINTEREST. Its like there's no other site on the great wide Internet to look at anymore. So, without further ado, onto the pictures:
It has 3 bedrooms upstairs, a full bath upstairs, a half bath on the main level, and a full basement (the knotty pine down there will soon be a thing of the past). It was built in 1946, so its just chock full of class and charm- including real glass doorknobs!! I am quite excited about making this house our home (as cheesy as that sounds). So get ready for some after-shots in a few weeks! (and probably some pretty fun construction shots too:) )
oooh! It's so cute and quaint! I also love the vintage charm. I can't wait to see what you do with the place. :)
ReplyDeleteNot gonna lie. That pink and black tile is too cool. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is darling! Can't wait to see the work you put into it. It is going to be fabulous!
